The Taraba State chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has lauded the appointment of its immediate past Deputy National President, Alhaji Abubakar Adamu Sadiqu Moyoyo, as a member of the Taraba State Sports Development Commission.
In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Jude Nuhu G, and Secretary, Charles Akpeji, the association described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Moyoyo’s unwavering dedication, professionalism, and significant contributions to sports journalism and sports development in Taraba and across Nigeria.
According to the statement, Moyoyo’s wealth of experience and passion for the growth of sports will bring tremendous value to the Commission and further advance Governor Agbu Kefas’ vision of repositioning the sports sector in the state.
The association expressed confidence that his appointment would open new opportunities for youth development, talent discovery, and the overall advancement of sporting activities in Taraba.
